What is Trench Camp?
Trench camp is a 3-day high school football camp dedicated exclusively to the most important part of any football team, the offensive and defensive linemen…the guys in the trenches.
What makes Trench Camp different?
Trench Camp is coached almost exclusively by former NFL players. Our coaches have a unique perspective on what it takes to make an exceptional linemen and we’ll work with each and every camper to make sure they get the most out of every minute they’re on the field.
Who should attend Trench Camp?
Any high school freshman, sophomore, junior or senior who wants to take their O-D line skills the next level. Whether you’re looking to make the first team varsity squad or you want to make an impression on college recruiters, Trench Camp is for you.
What does the daily Trench Camp schedule look like?
Registration is held on the Friday morning of the camp from 9 to 10 AM, lunch is from 1 to 2 PM with the afternoon session running from 2 to 4 PM. On Saturday, the morning session runs from 9 AM to Noon with lunch from Noon to 1 PM followed by the afternoon session from 1 to 4 PM. On Sunday, there is a morning session from 9 AM to Noon followed by a catered BBQ from Noon to 1 PM.
What do I need to bring to camp?
Portland campers should bring their own helmets, shoes, shells (shells are only needed for the Portland camp since it is a full contact camp) and mouthpiece. The camp will not be offering any type of rental equipment so it is mandatory that you supply your own. Campers in New Orleans in Dallas only need to bring a mouthpiece and turf football shoes as these will be non-contact camps per state law. If you do not have the above items you will not be able to participate in Trench Camp. You are required to bring a copy of proof-of-insurance. Without proof-of-insurance your camper will not be allowed to participate. It is also a good idea to bring water, snacks and sunscreen.
Will Trench Camp Provide Lunch/Meals?
In the past, our camp has provided sandwiches at lunch, however, as of 2018, all campers will be required to bring their own lunch on Friday and Saturday. The camp will host a BBQ on the last day of camp provided by us. We will continue to provided water and Gatorade for all meals and breaks.
Will this be a full contact camp?
Our Portland, OR camp will be a full contact camp so helmets and pads are required. Our camps in Dallas, TX and New Orleans, LA are non-contact camps (per state law) so campers only need shirts, shorts and/or football pants, turf shoes and helmets.
My player can’t attend, can I get a refund?
We’ll refund 1/2 of your registration fee prior to May 1, 2018. There are no refunds after May 15, 2018.
